World boss encounters in Haze Seas are gated by weather events, sea progression, and player level. Each boss has unique mechanics, phase transitions, and drop tables that drive the late-game farming meta.
Zenith is a level 2,500 boss with ~190,000 HP inside the Shadow Island cave. Phase 1 uses sword lunges and tracking dashes; Phase 2 (<50% HP) switches to multi-slash combos. Drops the Zenith Sword 100% of the time and finalizes the Race V2 quest.
Sea Beast is a scaling-level boss with ~120,000 HP. Spawns randomly in Second Sea open ocean. Continuous water spouts and tail sweeps damage ship hulls. Drops high-tier material chests and progresses the Race V2 questline.
Lightning Boss is a level 3,000 boss with ~350,000 HP on the Flying Ship. Phase 1 (100%-40% HP) spams ranged lightning strikes; Phase 2 (<40% HP) gains teleport tracking and increased attack speed. Drops Lightning V2 materials and the Thunder God title at 0.1%.
Krampus is a level 2,000 seasonal boss with ~150,000 HP. Fires ice projectile shards that slow movement and apply stuns. Drops the XMAS Sled mount at 1.0% — Krampus is only available during the Winter Event window.
Kaido is a level 3,000 boss with ~400,000 HP in Wano. Phase 1 (100%-60% HP) spams club swings; Phase 2 (60%-30% HP) transforms into a hybrid Dragon with breath attacks; Phase 3 (<30% HP) becomes a full Dragon. Drops the Kaido Artifact at 100% and is the path to Gear 5.
